proces, droga od świadomego kształtowania Twojej teraźniejszości, planów, celów, realizowania ich i przede wszystkim – definiowania ich, nazywania zgodnie z Tobą i Twoimi potrzebami. Praca, którą wykonujesz ze mną to wierzchołek góry lodowej – cała reszta dzieje się w Tobie w wyniku tego, co razem omawiamy, uruchamiamy.

Proces coachingowy to od kilku do kilkunastu sesji coachingowych, trwających 1 godzinę zegarową.
Już w pierwszych dwóch spotkaniach definiujemy sobie cel – tzw. kontrakt coachingowy. Może on ulec zmianie, ale musi zostać określony – bo to nadaje kierunek naszej pracy.
Spotkania następują w cyklu co tydzień lub co dwa tygodnie – chociaż może być to ustalane indywidualnie wedle potrzeb, chodzi natomiast o zachowanie ciągłości i nieprzyspieszanie nadmiernie procesu.
Czas rozdzielający sesje jest bardzo ważny, bo wtedy masz możliwość wprowadzania małymi krokami zmian, do których zadeklarowałaś/eś się podczas sesji, wykonywania ćwiczeń i do dalszego „trawienia” tego, nad czym pracujesz.
Takie „rozciągnięcie” procesu w czasie sprawia, że zmiany wewnętrzne zachodzą na stałe i na głębszym poziomie, to jest ogromna wartość, która stoi za trwałością całej pracy.
Jaka jest moja rola?
Musisz wiedzieć, że coach jest ekspertem od procesu, towarzyszem w drodze do celu – ale nie jest ekspertem od Twojego życia i w związku z tym nie powie Ci, co jest dla Ciebie najlepsze. Sam/a wiesz to najlepiej. Czasem musisz tego tylko poszukać.
Żeby Ci w tym pomóc, mam wiele narzędzi, z których najważniejszym jest zadawanie pytań prowokujących do poszukiwania sposobów dojścia tam, gdzie chcesz.
Jednak nie tylko – ja pracuję z różnymi narzędziami zgodnymi z metodą TROP, ale też m.in. z kartami Points of You, które doskonale potrafią odblokować sposób myślenia, uruchomić wyobraźnię, rozszerzyć kontekst rozumienia tematu, z którym pracujemy i poszerzyć punkt widzenia o zupełnie nowe aspekty.
Coaching czy terapia?
Pierwsza i podstawowa różnica – do coachingu przystępuje człowiek, który jest zdrowy po to, by wykonać pracę, której celem jest poprawa jakości życia. Tymczasem w terapii celem jest rozwiązanie problemu – uleczenie duszy z ran, zdjęcie bagażu, który dociąża i ogranicza.
W coachingu nie ma relacji autorytetu – to coachee może sobie pomóc dzięki wsparciu coacha, żeby nauczyć się poznać i lepiej zrozumieć swoje zasoby i możliwości ich wykorzystania – natomiast w terapii źródłem pomocy i autorytetem jest terapeuta.
Coaching, jak już z grubsza opisałam, może być pracą nad zmianą nawyków, pewnych schematów, wzorców zachowań, czy sposobu, w jaki kształtujemy relacje z otoczeniem. I chociaż na tym poziomie granica pomiędzy terapią a coachingiem jest cienka, to zasadniczym rozgraniczeniem jest to, że coaching skupia się na przyszłości – terapia jest natomiast pracą nad przeszłością.
Czego Ty potrzebujesz?
Osobiście kilka razy spotkałam się z osobami, które próbowały sięgać po coaching jako metodę uniknięcia terapii – niemniej jednak to jest bardzo trudne i w zasadzie pozbawione sensu, bo żeby zdobywać góry, trzeba przygotować sobie odpowiednio lekki bagaż. Natomiast z garbem przeszłości na plecach bardzo ciężko zdobywa się szczyty.
Takie osoby z problemami emocjonalnymi, osobowościowymi czy wahaniami nastoju powinny zgłosić się po pomoc terapeuty, toteż takie osoby powinny i w moim przypadku – zawsze są odsyłane po właściwą dla nich pomoc.
